hundred thousand birds is a Boston-based instrumental trio of electric guitar, upright bass and drums. Their sound has myriad references but is rooted in the experimentalism of the late 60s. We shot digitally with a super 8 effect to harken that era, and the entire video was comprised of sumptuous landscape shots, visually evoking the aural landscape of their music.

We also created a wordmark for the bandname which was used for title cards in the video as well as album cover design.
